2) Map your data

List the fields needed and where they live (planning software, CRM, custodian exports). Create a simple schema in Sheets/Airtable: Client ID, Goal, Target, Actual, Date, Status, Notes.

3) Build the dashboard

  1. Connect your data source to Looker Studio.
  2. Create 3–5 tiles: key metric, trend chart, last change, next action, and a notes section.

Compliance Considerations You Can’t Skip

Interactive content is still “advertising” if it meets the definition under the SEC’s Marketing Rule. Supervise and archive it as you would any other communication.
