About Mark Schweiss, CFP®, CPA, CFA

After working in the CPA profession for the first 9 years of my professional career, I decided to change careers and become a financial planner. I passed the Certified Financial Planning (CFP) and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams and have worked in the financial planning profession for over 20 years now.

Modern Dollar Planning opened its doors in 2015 and has been an XY Planning Member ever since.  At Modern Dollar Planning, we assist busy executives, medical professionals and soon-to-be retired individuals with building out their financial goals and then helping them to achieve these goals through proactive financial advice. Our planning advice includes investment management, retirement, tax, cash flow, risk management and estate tax planning services.

Our structured financial planning process includes preparing a financial plan at the outset followed by semi-annual meetings thereafter to monitor and adapt your plan.   Modern Dollar Planning’s financial planning process is comprehensive and gives our client’s financial peace of mind knowing that they are on the right track, the right trajectory and that they have a true advocate, a true Fiduciary working on their behalf.

Modern Dollar Planning also believes in fairness and transparency when it comes to how we charge our clients and that is why we charge a flat quarterly fee for our services.
