Louise brings over three decades of finance experience to Financial Spyglass®. Previously, Louise worked with JPMorgan and predecessor banks. Her personal experience during an estate settlement process inspired her to start her own comprehensive financial planning firm in 2005 to deliver a level of service that she believes her clients deserve. She lives the advice she routinely gives to clients to maintain a balanced and high quality of life, in order to spend more time with her family, friends, and in her community.

Louise enjoys helping people make smart choices about their money for the reasons that are important to you. This not only identifies long-range goals but assists you in exploring the values upon which the choices are based. Her clients appreciate the clarity and simplicity that come from working with a trusted advisor who serves as the head coach of their team of professionals, orchestrating the individual expertise of each subject matter expert for your benefit. You will also appreciate the coaching and accountability culture Louise brings with regard to the implementation of the recommendations of the entire team.

Louise draws on her professional experience, as well as her education from Middlebury College in VT, NYU’s Stern School of Business in Manhattan, and welcomes the continuing education opportunities required to maintain her CFP® designation and XY Planning Network of fee-only advisors. Louise possesses the skill for what she believes is essential in today’s financial climate: Having the ability to coordinate and orchestrate the necessary members of the client’s Deliverables Team. Developing, implementing and coordinating the overall financial plan is Louise’s specialty. She is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Planners (NAPFA), the Rye Chamber of Commerce, collaborates with community partners to promote Financial Literacy, and quietly supports other pro-bono and philanthropic efforts.

Louise met her husband, G.B. racing International One Designs on Long Island Sound. They married and settled in Rye in 1994. They have a son, Hutch pursuing a degree in computer science at the New York Institute of Technology and daughter, Brakeley, Boston University’s Questrom School of Business, Class of 2019. Hutch and Brakeley both started rowing at Greenwich Water Club and have each represented their teams at the Head of the Charles and Youth Nationals. The family lives in Rye with their springer spaniel, Skip. The entire family enjoys all that Rye has to offer, spending time in Rhode Island, and in Telluride, Colorado. Happy times for Louise include celebrating with clients, family and friends, as often as possible; and dancing with GB.
