About Justin Pritchard, CFP®, PPC®, MBA, RMA®
Let’s get things done so you can move on to the more important things in life. Whether you prefer to spend time with loved ones, get outdoors, or do anything else, completing those necessary financial tasks makes it easier. With over 15 years of experience helping clients, I can help you sort out what’s important and what’s just noise.
Get clarity on when you can retire and how things might unfold. We’ll review your resources (like Social Security or pension income along with retirement assets) and evaluate your ability to pay expenses. Meanwhile, we estimate taxes, investment returns, the impact of inflation, and other factors. And we can run various what-if scenarios to take an optimistic or pessimistic view—or just explore possibilities.
With that information, you can make informed decisions. Can you retire early? Does it make sense to pursue strategies like Roth IRA conversions? Are annuities worth looking at, and should you keep the products somebody else sold you?
When it comes to investing, I favor a relatively simple approach. Portfolios and recommendations are primarily index-based, consisting of mutual funds or ETFs. I do not receive any commissions for selling products, and I’m not a fan of active trading or picking individual stocks.
How do we work together? It’s your choice: Do it yourself, or have me handle your investments—you are not required to transfer assets or invest any minimum amount.
Options include hourly engagements, flat-fee or one-time project work, asset management, and other arrangements. You can choose a model that meets your needs and feels right for you.
Also, if you run a business or nonprofit, I’ve worked with numerous workplace retirement plans, such as 401(k) plans. I’m available for everything from plan consulting and setup to ongoing service, participant education, and financial wellness. That means I’ll educate your employees—the people who save in those plans—as they work toward their goals. For retirement plans, small businesses and self-employed entrepreneurs are my sweet spot. Whether you go with a SIMPLE, a 401(k), a defined benefit plan, or payroll-deduction IRA, we can explore the pros and cons.
I earned an MBA and MSIS from the University of Colorado in 2003 and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in 2010. I first got licensed with a financial firm in 2000. I’ve also written about personal finance, loans, insurance, retirement, early retirement, and more for the past 15+ years—I enjoy staying up to date on new developments.
Let’s talk!
