Dan earned his Master of Business Administration from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, earning an academic scholarship and working as a Graduate Assistant in the Finance Department during his time in College Station. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas State University. Dan is a member of The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors.

Outside of work Dan loves spending time with his wife, Vanessa, and their three sons, David, Alex, and Eric. He enjoys hiking, yoga, and especially golf. He is a past board member and former Treasurer of the Jewish Federation of Greater El Paso and current board member of the El Paso Holocaust Museum. Dan is most proud of his continued volunteer activities with Junior Achievement.
