Brian Tegtmeyer, CFP® is a fee-only financial planner based out of Columbus, OH. Brian started Truly Prosper Financial Planning to provide a more thoughtful approach to retirement planning.
Before starting Truly Prosper, Brian worked for over ten years at a fee-only wealth management firm. He was able to gain valuable experience developing detailed retirement plans, tax projections, and social security strategies. He enjoyed the work and appreciated his time there, but felt called to create a different kind of financial planning business.
In 2020, Truly Prosper was founded on the idea that retirement planning should be available to all people, not just the wealthy. That pricing should be based on the service received and not the size of the investment portfolio. That financial life planning is the key to helping clients live the best life possible with the money they have.
When Brian’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids. They love playing board games, going for adventure walks, or playing a game of backyard kickball.
