About Aaron Olson, CFP®, CFA®

At Dakota Coast Capital, we advise a limited number of families on their important financial decisions. Whatever financial goals you have for your family or family business, we help you navigate the challenges and design a tailored strategy to provide you with peace of mind.

Aaron Olson, the founder and fee-only financial advisor at DCC, provides guidance for your family’s finances and business interests. Aaron collaborates with you to organize your current financial condition, determine your goals, and create a roadmap to achieve those goals. He coordinates the implementation and monitoring of solutions to maximize the probability of financial success for you, your family, and your business.

Prior to founding Dakota Coast Capital, Aaron spent several years consulting with independent financial advisory firms while working at Dimensional Fund Advisors. During that experience, he honed his wealth management philosophy from many of the best minds in the capital markets and financial planning fields. He applies that philosophy daily in developing solutions for you and your family, while also drawing upon his lifelong experience working in his family’s agriculture business to help you navigate the financial complexities of a family business.

Aaron is a CFA® charterholder and a Certified Financial Planner™ professional. He received a Bachelor’s in Finance from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Texas. He enjoys living in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania and travels back to his roots in South Dakota frequently. He can often be found behind a stroller (or double stroller) in Valley Forge National Park or on the Schuylkill River Trail with his wife and children.
