Dan Slagle, CFP®

About Dan Slagle, CFP®

I am one half of the husband and wife team Fyooz Financial Planning (see Natalie Slagle‘s profile).

We are here to help guide you — whether it’s figuring out what to do with your excess savings, merging your accounts, staying on track for retirement or developing your household’s new joint investment philosophy.

Outside of work, I am a marathon runner, avid soccer fan, and always down for a good day trip.

Natalie and I are a married couple who blend our finances together. And despite all of our education and credentials, we understand it is still a difficult task to undertake. Money disagreements are one of the leading causes of separation in our society. But, it shouldn’t be this way! So we took it upon ourselves to help specialize in this area to help other couples along their journey.

We create a safe, structured, and fun environment to have deep conversations about your past and how it translates into your future. We take an interest in your personal life by listening actively and helping you understand the value of where your dollars are being spent and saved. It is our desire to provide you with the confidence you need to live richly together.

Courtney Ranstrom, CFP®, MBA

About Courtney Ranstrom, CFP®, MBA

One of the questions Courtney asks herself and her clients – what does wealth mean to you? In many cases, wealth has nothing to do with money but with how we find fulfillment in our lives. Courtney does not believe in imposing arbitrary standards of wealth onto her clients. Rather, she wants her clients to understand what wealth means to them and how they can achieve their version of wealth. Her conversations with her clients are not just about money, they are about building a financial life plan tailored to each client’s values, resources, and ongoing life goals.

Courtney has been working in the wealth management industry since 2009 and is a Certified Financial Planner®. Prior to that, she worked as an internal auditor in both government and a publicly-traded company. She received a Master in Business Administration from Willamette University in 2005.

Courtney lives in Portland, Oregon, with her husband, daughters, and two Cardigan Corgis. When not working, you can find her reading books or visiting the zoo with her girls, walking around their Central Eastside neighborhood, drinking coffee, and eating dark chocolate.

Ashley Murphy, CFP®, AIF®

About Ashley Murphy, CFP®, AIF®

Hi, I’m Ashley Murphy, Founder and Principal of Areté Wealth Strategists, a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) providing financial planning and investment management services to Aussie expatriates and business owners since 2013 .

I bring a unique perspective for my clients as a tri-citizen of Australia, the UK and the US. I moved to the US in 2005 after my undergraduate studies in Australia so I have first hand experience in figuring out a new financial system. Before making the transition to financial planning, I worked in corporate finance at several Fortune 500 companies. It was at a Certified Financial Planner® information session in 2008 however, where I got hooked . The panelists conveyed their enthusiasm for financial planning and once I learned that there were advisors working with clients in a fiduciary, fee-only professional capacity, I knew this was for me.

Financial planning and investment management aren’t just my career, they’re my calling. They represent the alignment of my skills, passions and business savvy as Jim Collins so well defined in his Three Circles exercise from ‘Good to Great.’ I love helping Aussies on similar paths as mine succeed in the US. With business owners, I identify with their energy and empathize with their desire for independence.

There’s so much opportunity out there. I look forward to speaking with you.

Kyle Moore, CFP®

About Kyle Moore, CFP®

I started Quarry Hill Advisors with the goal of elevating the standard of financial planning. I entered the financial world wanting to make a difference in clients’ lives, only to find out that the “financial advisor” positions at the big firms were more focused on sales than helping people.

The purpose of Quarry Hill is to provide a better solution for people seeking expert, objective advice. We are now an industry-leading firm helping optimize the financial lives of busy Executives and Retirees around the country. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, I am committed to the highest standards of excellence and professionalism in the industry.

I earned my bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and was recognized with Academic All-American and Academic All-Big Ten honors as a golf team member. While I don’t conduct client meetings on the golf course, I’d be happy to take you out as friends and play you for money!

While I’m not busy in the office crafting financial plans, I love going on adventures with my wife, Madeline, and two children, Sophie Sue and Graham. My office, home, church, and in-laws are all within a 3-mile radius in St. Paul so it’s never too hard to find me!
