About Robert Lindstrom, CFP®, EA

Serving Baltimore, MD, Birmingham, AL and Huntsville, AL.

I wanted to be a stockbroker growing up. My grandfather gave me stock certificates for my birthday, and the stockbrokers I knew seemed to play the most golf. After the Great Recession hit in 2008, the closest I could get was a job in wealth management at a bank.

What a blessing. That job began my journey from aspiring-stock broker to Provision Financial Planning. That job led to becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Which led to a detour in the insurance and investment brokerage world. Which led to comprehensive Fee-Only advice. Which led to becoming an Enrolled Agent and tax planning.

I have broad experience in the financial industry, which is why I have chosen to remain a Fee-Only advisor. Fee-Only means we receive no commissions or referral fees of any kind. The only compensation we receive comes from our clients, eliminating much of the conflict of interests so prevalent in the personal finance industry and allowing us to work as a Fiduciary in your best interests at all times.

I was born and raised in Huntsville, AL and currently live in Towson, Maryland. I met my wife Laura while we were students at the University of Richmond. We have three incredible boys, Hudson, Luke and Graham, and a Goldendoodle named Louie. You can usually find all of us playing in a ball field somewhere, and hopefully on the golf course as the boys get older!

About Tyler Reeves, CFP®

Hey there. I’m Tyler. I’m the founder of Plimsoll Financial Planning, a practice dedicated to helping early-to-mid career physicians build financial plans they feel good about.

Starting a career in medicine is hard. A late start to higher earnings, overwhelming student loans, complicated employment structures, and lifestyle creep are all challenging enough on their own. Put them together and it’s a recipe for stress.

At Plimsoll, I guide clients through these transitions, making sure they avoid costly mistakes and are in position to take advantage of every financial opportunity. My goal is to provide a place for clients to air ideas, walk through what-if scenarios, and get outside perspective on financial decisions.

If you’d like a thinking partner for your money conversations, please schedule an introductory call at to see if we’re a good fit.

About Tony Pampel, CFP®, CPWA®, CFS, CLTC

Hi. I’m Tony Pampel, the founder of True Life Financial Planning. I’ve been helping clients in the insurance, investment and financial services industries for over a decade. Throughout that time, I’ve dedicated myself to becoming the best financial planner I can through rigorous study and improvement. I have come to realize that becoming a better advisor to my clients means more than just a higher level of technical proficiency. It means becoming a true guide to helping you determine what would really make a meaningful life, and then walking that path with you as you work to fulfill your dreams. That epiphany was the birth place of True Life Financial Planning.

My love affair with the financial planning profession started when I was very young. As I went through my teenage years, I was exposed heavily to personal finance as I watched my family work its way back from some earlier financial missteps. It was only while completing my undergraduate studies at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, that I realized the information I had gained over the last few years wasn’t common knowledge. I soon found myself helping friends with everything from accounting homework to their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) paperwork. I came out of that program with two invaluable blessings: the knowledge that I wanted to help people make responsible financial decisions, and more importantly my wife, Maude, who is now the loving mother of our two children, Emmie and Sam.

It wasn’t a perfectly straight path from there to where I am today, but it was one that I wouldn’t change. It took me into places that galvanized my beliefs about what financial planning should NOT be, every bit as much as what it should. It showed me that being the best financial advisor I can be means helping clients discover and live their own True Life.
