Sridhar Krishnan, CFP®

About Sridhar Krishnan, CFP®

I am a seasoned technology professional and an entrepreneur based in Silicon Valley. I have experience starting and running a software company that was venture-funded and subsequently acquired by a public company.

During my high-tech career, I got intrigued by money matters such as savings, investments, insurance, taxes in order to achieve my family’s financial goals. Out of curiosity, I spent time reading and researching various aspects of personal finance. I realized that there are a growing number of financial options available with increasing complexity in these choices. My passion towards financial planning ultimately resulted in pursuing formal education in financial planning, subsequently completing the CFP Board requirements to be a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional.

I launched Encover Personal Finance in 2018, primarily to help technology professionals achieve their financial life goals based on my own experience. I believe in serving clients honestly and transparently in a conflict-free manner.

Jason Stein, CFP®

About Jason Stein, CFP®

For over 8 years, Jason has been helping clients achieve their financial goals through transparent advice and client education.

Jason earned his degree in Economics and Accounting from UC Santa Barbara and began his career with The Vanguard Group in Scottsdale, AZ. Originally inspired by his grandmother’s adolescent hardships, he’s always been encouraged to help others find financial clarity.

“My grandmother, who was a huge influence on my life, was a teenage girl during the Great Depression. Because she witnessed such financial hardship, she learned at a young age the importance of financial stability, and remained relatively frugal through most of her life. She instilled these values on my father, a financial advisor himself, who began educating me at a young age through our many road trips. In fact, the earliest lesson I recall was about mutual funds, and how I could buy a fund that contains Toys-R-Us, rather than buying the toy itself. What was initially a desire to learn more about my father’s job, quickly became valuable knowledge I knew could be used to help others. In 2013, I moved away from my friends and family, not knowing anyone in Arizona, to pursue a career with Vanguard. Given the indisputable morals behind Vanguard’s reputation, I could not think of a better company to begin my career, and to further enforce how success is achieved by putting client’s priorities ahead of one’s own.”

Jason now looks forward to bringing that industry leading experience, and scaling it down to provide a more personalized relationship with each of his clients.

Leland Gross, CFP®

About Leland Gross, CFP®

Hey there, I’m Leland!

I love building relationships and coaching people, which is what really brought me alive during the 6 years I worked in the personal finance industry before starting PeaceLink Financial Planning LLC (PLFP). It has been said that personal finance is more personal than finance. I find that true.

Finances touch every area of one’s life. Finances are a tool in our lives that can cause one of two things; they can be a source of stress and anxiety or a source of confidence and excitement. I am passionate about helping individuals and families foster confidence and an abundance mindset around their life goals through the financial planning process.

After many years working in the insurance and broker-dealer world, I grew tired of transactional relationships. I was working to do financial planning, but It was more product sales than relationships. That is where PeaceLink Financial Planning LLC came in.

I founded PLFP to make a real difference in people’s lives. Through a focus on the financial planning process and building relationships, I am able to truly understand my clients and what they desire in life. This allows me to tailor advice in a way to maximize the resources at their disposal and help them develop the life that they long for.

As a fee-only CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, I have the privilege of serving my clients nationwide to experience the life that they desire. Being “fee-only” means my only source of income is directly from my clients. I don’t get paid through hidden fees or commissions for selling products. This helps minimize the conflicts of interest in our relationship and puts us on the “same side of the table” to achieve your goals.

When I am not working with my clients, you can find me spending time with my wife, Lindy, and our pup, Sutton, being with family and friends, playing pickleball, or doing anything that involves water (swimming, surfing, boating).

As your Financial Planner, I promise you honesty, transparency, and commitment to your success.

About Timothy Sample, CFP®, MBA

“I walk this life with integrity and humility. With a focus on all-encompassing gratitude, I seek to leave a legacy of generosity and truth to all that enter my life”

I have a deep passion for entrepreneurship, real estate, and personal wealth management. Through my own financial endeavors, I have been an active equity investor for over 25 years and a real estate investor for over 20 years. My interest in personal finance led me to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional.

In 2019, I founded Sample Financial Solutions. SFS was established to assist families with their financial goals, build wealth specializing in small business owners and real estate investors. As an independent, fee-only fiduciary financial planner your interests are always put first.

Prior to founding SFS, I had a corporate career working for a fortune 500 company as a Credit Risk Manager. Working as Credit Risk Manager, I had the opportunity to work extensively with small business owners building relationships, reviewing businesses, and extending credit. During this time, I also obtained an MBA with a focus in finance and accounting.

Born in Oregon but spending most of my childhood in California, I moved to Colorado while in high school. Colorado is my home today. I attended the University of Denver for my undergraduate degree in biology, University of Colorado for my master’s degree biomedical sciences, and Regis University for my MBA.

Happily married for the last eight years, I have the privilege of raising two wonderful little girls. In my free time, I serve as a Team Lead for The Dad’s Edge Alliance, play golf, hike, and am actively continuing my weight-loss journey. Currently, I am down 126 pounds from my peak weight, with another forty pounds to go.

About Justin Green, CFP®, MS PFP

The real me.. (keep scrolling for the professional version)

In my free time, I love to spend time with my fiancée, family, and friends. I’m usually in a gym or somewhere by the water during the summer (I hibernate during the winter). I love to read business and personal growth books, listen to podcasts, binge documentaries, or watch Boston sports during my downtime.

My fiancée is a travel nurse, so we currently bounce around the United States every 13 weeks.

I believe that life is too short to take it seriously all the time, so I try to inject humor often. A little laughter goes a long way.

Certified Financial Planner™ Professional

Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning, Kansas State University

I decided to pursue my interest in personal finance a few years after receiving a Bachelors of Science in Sports Management from the State University of New York at Cortland. I was living in Manhattan, Kansas (the Little Apple) at the time and I decided to enroll in the Personal Financial Planning program at Kansas State University.

In 2016, I completed the education requirement of the CFP® certification and entered the profession at a small fee-only firm on Cape Cod, MA. During that time, I became a CFP® Professional after fulfilling all of the necessary requirements. In December 2019, I graduated from K-State with a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning (MSPFP).

At some point, I will probably add more designations and add to the alphabet soup after my name.

Why fitness coaches & fitness entrepreneurs?
“I had a decision to make. Pursue fitness coaching as my future? Or become a financial planner?”

When I was around 23 years old I realized I was in the wrong job and the wrong industry. I went to school for Sports Management but for the past 3 years I had been selling cheerleading uniforms…

Since I was a teenager, I’ve been passionate about two things: Fitness and Finance

Therefore, I had a decision to make. Pursue fitness coaching as my future? Or become a financial planner?

It was very close! But ultimately I chose to keep fitness as my passion and continued to consume fitness coaching content.

Fast forward to March 2021 when I launched Assist FP, I found myself in a position to work with anyone I wanted to.

And I chose you!

I chose online fitness coaches and fitness entrepreneurs.

Because you’re my people and I believe the work you’re doing is going to change lives!

Douglas Richardson, CFP®, BFA™

About Douglas Richardson, CFP®, BFA™

Fair Oaks Financial LLC was founded in 2020 and began operations in 2021 amid the COVID-19 Virus era. Many changes were taking place and people were reevaluating their lives in the face of the pandemic. Suddenly life took on different priorities and meaning and one did not know if they would be affected and to what extent. This brought to attention many overlooked items, that people were waiting to get around to, and brought them to the forefront. Questions like “if something were to happen to me, am I prepared?” My goal is to help you prepare for an uncertain future. There are many things that can be done to reduce anxiety in these stressful times. As a Fiduciary Advisor, I will be working with you to develop a plan that is customized to address your needs and desires. Being a Fiduciary means acting in your best interest. I enjoy helping people make sense of a complex set of choices, objectively weighing the pros and cons, and making informed decisions consistent with their long-term goals.

I have been working in the investment business for more than 25 years. I have seen complexity keep people from making the decisions needed to accomplish their goals. I enjoy helping explain things in a way that makes sense. Warren Buffet says “investing is simple, it’s just not easy.” Having a guide on your journey to help make decisions that will impact your future is not only important but essential. We all need objective advice, void of conflicts, to help us make wise decisions.
