About Mike Zeiter, CFP®, CPA/PFS

I am a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner who specializes in stock option compensation planning, tax planning, and wealth management. I work primarily with self employed individuals and executives receiving equity compensation from public companies. I started Foundations Financial Planning, LLC to utilize my tax and financial planning experience to provide comprehensive services for my clients.

After graduating with a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri, I obtained my CPA license and worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers. In 2014, I began my own tax practice while working full time in the finance industry. Working with personal taxes made me realize the importance of comprehensive financial planning. Too many people miss out on potential savings because of a lack of planning. In 2016, I obtained my Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) license in order to become an investment advisor to assist people with comprehensive financial planning. In 2019, I officially became a CFP® which helps me provide the best service to my clients.

Whatever your situation is, I am here to help!

Jason T. Morris, CFP®

About Jason T Morris, CFP®

After almost two decades on Wall Street as an analyst, portfolio manager, and entrepreneur, I decided to move to Main Street for the second half of my working life. I enjoy helping people and believe that Main Street will offer me more opportunities to do just that.

I also am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. I believe that the process of financial planning is invaluable when it comes to building wealth over our lifetimes. Having a clear, comprehensive plan in place (AND implementing it!) can help you stay the course over the long term, avoid pitfalls, and avoid unnecessary risks.

I believe in the incredible power of modern technology to solve our problems, and that those who wield it most effectively reap the most significant rewards over time. I have attempted to intelligently apply technology to the task at hand throughout my entire life. Beginning first in 1984, I used a computer network to research and write a report for school (I used a dial-up service called CompuServe, which was pre-www). And over the years I’ve managed to remain ahead of the curve, primarily because I love technology and discovering solutions that work for me and my work.

I am married to my beautiful wife Megan and have three amazing school-aged children. I was born and raised in Connecticut and now reside in Wilton, CT. I graduated from Fairfield Prep in ’91 and Georgetown University in ’95. We have three dogs and a cat, love to ski as a family and are active members of our community. I’m a dedicated member of the board of our local YMCA, Riverbrook Regional YMCA, for the past four years. I love to golf, play my guitars, and to spend time with my extended family.

David Sylvester, CFP®, CFA

About David Sylvester, CFP®, CFA

David founded CAVU Wealth Advisors in 2009 and has more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry.

In the early part of his career David was a noted airline analyst specializing in the emerging airlines that started after the Airline Deregulation Act of 1978. Following that experience, he worked with several investment banking firms, including ten years at Montgomery Securities, now Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Following those roles David became a portfolio manager, first utilizing active investment strategies and then converting to passive, index-based, investment strategies.

Throughout his career, David has witnessed increasing efficiency of the markets – especially since the advent of near ubiquity of real-time global information. As a result of these experiences, David has become an ardent supporter of index-based asset class investing.

He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1985 and the Certified Financial Planner™ designation in 2009. Fewer than 4% of CFP® practitioners hold both important designations.

David attended the University of Richmond on a football scholarship and graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration.

He is a past board member of the national board of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. As a volunteer, David currently teaches a class on Lifetime Financial Skills at the Bay Area Rescue Mission in Richmond, CA.

David and his wife Terry have been married since 1978, and have four grown daughters and six grandchildren. They reside in Moraga, CA and are active members of Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church.

David enjoys outdoor activities including golf, running, and backpacking.

Doug Oosterhart, CFP®

About Doug Oosterhart, CFP®

Over the better part of a decade, I’ve had the privilege to work with a variety of clients, ranging from millennials just starting their careers, to multi-generational nine-figure business owners and families. Having thousands of client meetings has shown me that financial planning is complex, but the process doesn’t have to be intimidating or overwhelming.

I began working in financial services in early 2013 as an insurance agent while getting my degree in Finance from Michigan State University. I then developed a passion for financial planning, but felt that there was a disconnect that left the client questioning a couple of things: How does this advisor get paid? Is this advisor obligated to work in my best interest (fiduciary)? With those questions in mind, I started researching business models, and concluded that to best serve my clients, starting an independent Registered Investment Adviser was the best option. During that time, I also earned my CFP® designation and am among only 4.85% of CFP® Professionals under the age of 30.

Transparency, integrity, and mastery of financial strategies in my client relationships are some of the most important values that I adopted early on. I found that clients actually desire and appreciate an advisor that is younger than them and probably won’t be retiring at the same time they are. I am dedicated to serving clients to and through their biggest decisions, while aligning money with life to make work optional.

Mark Wilson, CFP®, APA

About Mark Wilson, CFP®, APA

Thanks for your interest in my firm!

I’m Mark Wilson, APA, CFP®, a proud father of two teens and lucky husband of one amazing wife. I founded MILE Wealth Management to provide real wealth management to families and “Make It Look Easy” (MILE).

Providing integrated financial planning and investment management is hard. This is the reason why most financial advisors do bare minimum planning or no planning at all. Those that do financial plans intentionally make it look complex to justify their fees. The industry is full of jargon, acronyms, fine print and disclosures.

It’s no wonder that their “customers” are not meeting their goals or sleeping well at night.

My goal is to use my experience, teaching background, wise use of technology and smarts to make it look easy. I’ve found that families that understand their financial situation, set their personal targets and see their next steps will be able to achieve their short and long-term goals and make adjustments as necessary.

I want you to be relaxed about your finances, focus on what’s really important and make it look easy.

Have a look at our website (www.milewealth.com) or call 949-441-4410 to find out more.
