About Zack Swad, CFP®, CWS®, BFA™, AWMA®, AAMS®

Swad Wealth Management specializes in retirement planning for people age 50+. On the surface level, I help people with their financial planning and investment management needs.

But, in a way, retirement planning is kind of dumb.. At the least the way that most advisors do it right now. The idea of waiting until some arbitrary age to pursue your true passions and enjoy life while stopping all meaningful work all at the same time doesn’t really make sense.

That’s why I’m different. I guide people through a process to help them get crystal clear on their vision of their most ideal life. We determine what might get in the way and find solutions to those things. Then, and only then, do I create a financial plan that is specific to them and has those hopes, dreams, and goals as the foundation of their plan. I want a plan that will help impact their lives for the better today while still preparing for tomorrow.

People usually come to me because they feel burnt out at their jobs or business or because they are getting near retirement and are anxious about it, both for financial reasons and personal reasons such as social connections. They’re typically very successful and have grown their wealth and made a lot of good financial decisions. However, they are concerned about making a big change because of the money and because a big change can be quite daunting. At the same time, because their lives are so busy and hectic, they don’t have the bandwidth or energy to figure it all out on their own.

I started Swad Wealth Management because I want people to feel financially confident so they can live their most ideal lives, their “dream retirement” so to speak, sooner rather than later.

I always encourage people to check out my eBook, “15 Retirement Planning Tips for People Age 50+,” which can be downloaded for free on my website: www.swadwealth.com.

I started this company after being with a Fortune 500 brokerage firm for the past almost 11 years. Before I left, I managed a practice of around $800 million dollars of assets across about 300 client households.

On a personal note, I’ve been in Petaluma for the past 9 years and am getting married in July to my beautiful fiancé, Elise Moseley! In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar, singing, piano, traveling, and going to the theatre.

About Lisa Mesquit, CFP®, CFA

I am the Founder and CEO of Soaring Investment Management LLC, a Registered Investment Advisory firm based in Portland Oregon. In my 15 years of corporate and individual finance experience, I have managed portfolios from $250 million to over $1 billion. After graduating Oklahoma Christian University cum laude with a BS in Finance, I earned my CFA and have been a Charterholder since 1998 and I added the CFP® designation in 2022.

My salt-of-the-earth upbringing in North Texas has certainly influenced my drive to bring professional money management to individual investors in an accessible and affordable way. My childhood took me from the suburbs of Dallas to the small town of Sanger where I learned to appreciate the beauty of a cow pasture, the majesty of a thunder storm and the fun of a good football game. I also learned that things aren’t always what they seem. Modest people might surreptitiously have substantial wealth, while flashy people might be “all hat and no horse.”

In addition to my upbringing, I have held a variety of positions that have helped shaped me into the advocate for financial prudence that I am today. It began with my first job post high school at a law office. It’s there that I observed the ramifications of a national real estate collapse, the savings and loan crisis, an oil bust, and bankrupt partnerships. Vacant office space propagated the landscape throughout my college years imprinting caution and warning of boom and bust business cycles in my mind.

My long-time internship with Stifel, Nicholas brokerage firm during college introduced me to the workings of a broker/dealer, the investment banking side of municipal bonds and the training of advisors. I learned how big an impact a good advisor can have.

Upon graduation, the exemplary team at MidFirst Bank welcomed me into their Treasury Department. I am forever grateful for the disciplined approach they ingrained in me. I learned about benchmark rates of return, asset pricing, interest rate risk, corporate budgeting, and mortgage-backed securities. Eventually, I was appointed the lead analyst of the bank’s bond portfolio and maintained the Wall Street relationships there.

Arriving at Gap, Inc during a time of a fashion-miss and in the midst of the dot com boom, I kept busy securing funding in the bond market as part of their International Treasury Department. I saw up close the affects of the business cycle and strategic decisions on the shareholders and employees. I also learned, although fun at times, Corporate America was not where I wanted to be. I opt for something more personal and relational.

These business cycles and money decisions affect us all. My childhood roots coupled with valuable professional experiences helped spark my desire for families and communities to experience the blessings of financial prudence. I love being able to provide accessible and affordable professional money management through Soaring Investment Management

About Naveen Neerukonda, CFP®, MBA

My goal is to provide working professionals with sound financial advice to help them best position themselves and their financial lives for success. While the majority of our clients have medical backgrounds or are business owners, our services are best targeted to those with investable assets and are in the asset accumulation phase of their life. I provide comprehensive financial planning services as well as investment advisory services. PVA Financial LLC is a state-registered RIA firm. We focus our business on providing PRACTICAL, VALUABLE and ALIGNED advice. I found that to be missing when I was looking for an advisor more than two decades ago and have vowed to keep focused on those three tenets.

Before founding PVA Financial, I worked as a private equity executive. With over 15 years of financial services experience, I’ve spent the majority of my career evaluating businesses, investing in them, finding ways to accelerate their growth and improve their operational efficiency. This background has given me unique insight into the importance of building strong foundations and the necessity for clear and effective communication…both of which are incorporated into our relationships with clients.

I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. I also received my MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago, with a focus on Finance & Accounting. I also hold the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, which requires comprehensive knowledge in all areas of financial planning, including insurance planning, risk management, employee benefits planning, investment planning, income tax planning, retirement planning, and estate planning.

Igor Smolyanskiy, CFP®, CFA

About Igor Smolyanskiy, CFP®, CFA

I am a spreadsheet junkie, a lifelong learner and an educator.

After a 20+ year career on Wall Street, I decided to pursue my passion to help people maximize their potential and meet key life goals by providing them with practical financial advice.

Many people I know shy away from seeking professional advice as they feel it is too investment-centric and expensive. Investment management is important, but there is so much more to optimizing financial life that is usually neglected. We are here to address that.

I believe financial advisory should not be fundamentally different from an accounting or law practice where professionals are compensated directly for their services based on quality and complexity of work. At Vilga, we embrace that model. Dramatic improvement in quality and cost of professional software, virtualization of number crunching and communication make it possible for us to offer high quality service in this space.

Kyle Moore, CFP®

About Kyle Moore, CFP®

Kyle is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors. He has sworn to a fiduciary oath of putting clients interests above all else. We work with individuals who are looking for a personal relationship, not a cog in the Big Finance machine. We take a very limited number clients per advisor to make sure clients have access to help with decisions both large and small.

We work with young professionals, established professionals, and business owners and their families to help build wealth and achieve peace of mind. We are confident in building solid financial plans that are forward looking while tailoring an investment strategy for each of our clients.

Kyle is happily married to his wife Amber, and they are kept busy by their playful dog, Copper. Outside of work, Kyle is passionate about cooking and exploring the world of wine. In fact, Cru is a wine industry term used in France to describe vineyards of superior quality. When building his company, Kyle felt this aligned with his objective in the financial industry.
