At the end of the day, everyone wants to feel confident and secure, and White Turf aims to do the worrying for you, so you don’t have to.

Todd is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS). He has a background in public accounting, working on tax planning for high net worth individuals, nonprofits, and small businesses, as well as complex investment taxation situations. After spending some time in the investment world, Todd transitioned to financial planning, where he feels his true calling in doing the financial worrying for you, so you don’t have to.

He is supported by his wife, Hilary, and through copious dog cuddles from their Great Dane, Jaxson, and Boxer/Lab, Duncan.

My professional purpose changed when my wife and I were blessed to go from having 1 child to 5 children in just 2.5 years. That wasn’t built into our financial plan!

Today, I help parents and families make sense of and maximize their financial lives. What I’ve found is that even some of the smartest people make small, consistent mistakes with their finances. And over time, these mistakes – if left unchecked – can cost you thousands of dollars in excess taxes, fees, and opportunity cost.

My wife, Jill, and I were married in 2008. We have five kids: Jackson, Thomas, Charley, AnnaMay (twin girls), and Sutton. We love watching our kids play sports and both Jill and I coach their teams – sometimes we even coach together! We also love to go the beach and we spend time in the summers in Rehoboth Beach, DE.

If I’m not managing the future for clients or with my amazing wife & five kids, you might find me coaching, cooking, golfing, or playing cribbage.

I used to work for one of the big brokerage houses that you’ve probably heard of. Through that experience, I realized that I would never be able to give clients my best when I was chasing someone else’s standard of success, whether that was a “sales target” or “revenue goal” or whatever you want to call it.

At Bespoke Planning, my standard of success is simple: to provide a bespoke planning experience that is tailored to each individual client.

I’m not a mass market kind of guy. If you’re looking for a mass market experience, or you’re simply looking for an “investment guy,” I’m not it.

As a financial planner, I truly love helping clients work through their most difficult financial issues so that they can achieve their goals and live their best life. My wife may think I’m crazy because I spend my free time reading through tax guides and countless blog posts on personal finance– but hey, I love what I do. Wes is a native of Fort Worth, TX where he started his career as an insurance agent for his family’s independent insurance agency. After working decades in the insurance and financial services industry, he left insurance to do full-time financial planning and investment advising. Wes is the founder of SJK Financial Planning (SJK are the initials of Wes’ children).

Wes has a bachelors of business administration from the University of North Texas majoring in Financial Planning. In addition to being a Certified Financial Planner™ Professional, Wes is a Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow (LUTCF). Wes is an active member of the DFW chapter of the Financial Planning Association.

Wes enjoys the outdoors participating in backpacking, hunting, fishing, canoeing, and camping. He likes to cook, garden and read. He has a passion for old movies and is a Turner Classic Movie fan. As Wes would say, “I love good story telling, thats what I look for in old movies”.

Ben Martinek is the founder of Bona Fide Finance, Latin for “in good faith”. He and his team make the promise to prepare each client for their future according to the standards of good finance and good sense.

Ben spent years studying personal finance, possessing extensive knowledge in matters of individual tax, debt management (student loans, anyone?), retirement strategy, and global investment opportunities offered through the capital markets. Through Bona Fide Finance, he work on a fee-for-service basis, providing comprehensive advice for young professionals who are seeking to secure their financial position, accumulate wealth, and optimize lifestyle design.

On the personal side, Ben the fourth of nine children and grew up in rural Indiana. Early in life, he felt strongly moved to serve others and thus attended seminary, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and classical languages. Having once considered an academic career, Ben continued my philosophy studies and obtained a master’s degree. Upon realizing the challenges with the job market in academia, he sought other career paths, some of which included construction and truck driving – in fact, he and his wife Deb spent the first few years of their marriage as team over-the-road truck drivers, logging over 600,000 miles in the “lower 48,” visiting every metropolitan area and traveling over 90% of the Interstates in the US! — before deciding that financial planning should be the focus of his talents and career efforts.

Ben works hard, but also relish in the fruit of his labor. In addition to his studies pertaining to finance and philosophy, Ben also likes to garden, hike, make home improvements, and woodwork. He relax by grilling, smoking a pipe, canoeing the Missouri River and sailing Lake Sakakawea. From time to time, Ben also teaches Business Ethics and other financial planning courses at his local university.

Ben’s wife and two beautiful daughters live in Bismarck, North Dakota, where they happily endure the cold winters!

Personal:

I was born and raised in Southern California and currently reside in Irvine with my wife, daughter Quinn, dog Gracie (schnoodle). We live a very active lifestyle, enjoy experimenting with new foods in the kitchen and doing pretty much anything that involves the outdoors. Outside the office, you can find me rock climbing, mountain biking, diving, skiing, backpacking, or even playing a round of golf. My wife Paige is a CPA and works for a large accounting firm. We both love to travel and one of our dreams is to dive all 7 continents.

Professional:

I graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a BA in Business Economics. Soon after graduating, I began working in the financial services industry for several large insurance broker-dealers including MassMutual Financial Group and Principal. A few years after joining the industry, I knew I wanted to provide more in depth financial planning and enrolled in the Certified Financial Planner™ course at Pepperdine University and earned the CFP® marks several years later. In 2016, I gave up all my commissions and left my broker-dealer to start Ascent Wealth so that I could become a fiduciary and empower and provide individuals with unbiased advice without the sales incentives and kickbacks of typical commission based firms.

I’m Mark Wilson, APA, CFP®, a proud father of two teens and lucky husband of one amazing wife. I founded MILE Wealth Management to provide real wealth management to families and “Make It Look Easy” (MILE).

I am the founder and principal of Watershed Wealth Planning LLC. My practice is focused on households in their 20’s, 30’s, and 40’s who have high income but may be struggling to build a positive net-worth, often due to the burden of student debt and rising housing costs. As a financial planner, I am able to pull on my prior experience as a bankruptcy attorney to help people avoid common pitfalls and cut out the noise that can complicate important financial decisions.

My clients have concerns that are more unique than “retirement” or “college planning,” such as: How do we travel internationally every year without compromising our long-term plan? As someone who has traveled to 33 countries in my 44 years, I love helping clients answer these types of questions.

Hi. My name is Anna Sergunina, CFP® and I am the President & CEO at MainStreet Financial Planning, Inc.

I passionately believe that in order to live a life of fulfillment and joy, we must genuinely serve each other in any way possible. I discovered that my mission in life is to serve others via financial planning.

The greatest satisfaction in my career comes from helping clients to understand what stops them from achieving their financial dreams and getting them headed back in the right direction. For me, there is nothing more rewarding than to hear how my service helped my clients buy a house, save for children’s college, start a new business, travel around the world, or afford to retire early. That is how I get my “kicks” and that is what fuels my passion- realizing that I am an important part of someone else’s life and that I help them realize their goals and fullest potential.

I’ve been involved in the financial services industry since 2003. I graduated from Towson University with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Finance and earned the right to use the CFP mark from the CFP Board of Standards in 2009.

I am an active member of Garrett Planning Network (GPN), the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), and a board member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) for two CA chapters (Silicon Valley and San Francisco).

Prior to joining MainStreet Financial Planning in 2006, I held a few other jobs as Broker’s Intern at Solomon Smith Barney in Baltimore and a Sales Rep for a retirement and health savings plans administration firm before I discovered my passion for personal financial planning. For 3 years, on a part-time basis, I volunteered as an Ambassador (public educator) for College Savings Plans of Maryland, educating parents on how to save for college.

In December of 2013, I executed a succession plan with Jim Ludwick (founder of MainStreet Financial Planning) and became the 1st Garrett Planning Network Advisor to successfully purchase 100% of a mature practice. My long-term goal is to grow MainStreet into a household brand for financial planning.

I now run an online all-women financial planners firm and focus on working with busy families with small children.
