About Kyle Kues, CFP®, MBA

I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Business Management. After a few years I moved to Germany and earned a MBA from Pforzheim University, and lived and worked in Berlin for a few years. For the last three and a half years, after moving back to the US, I have been a Financial Planner and now run Snowcap Financial.

Through Snowcap Financial I primarily serve young professionals and their families. We are planning for the long term together. Marriage, kids, buying a home, planning for college, etc. I am right there with you on this journey. I have run small businesses (including launching my own) and have worked for one of the 25 largest companies in the world helping to lead an international department.

I understand the challenges you face, and want to be a resource for you as you look to figure out what money means to you and how best to use it to do something meaningful in your life.

But we believe there is a better way.

About Jeff McDermott, CFP®, CSLP®

At Create Wealth Financial Planning our vision is to make financial planning accessible to everyone, earlier in life, to create the greatest impact.

After 17 years working in the world of personal finance I founded CWFP to meet the needs of young families and young professionals as they grow their wealth for the purpose of living a richer life. Even if you are just starting your financial journey and haven’t built your nest egg up yet, Create Wealth Financial Planning is here to serve you. There are no minimum asset levels required to work with CWFP.

We always start by clarifying with you the elements of your ideal life. What are the things you and your family want to accomplish in the next 1, 3, 5, 10+ years? Then we create a plan that helps you align every dollar with a purpose that contributes to the life you are seeking.

When you partner with CWFP in ongoing financial planning, our service calendar kicks in to make sure that your plan gets the continued attention it deserves. Whether that is checking in on certain items at certain times of the year such as tax reviews early in the year and benefits reviews before open enrollment, or ensuring other items are adjusted at regular intervals like investment allocations and savings plans, your living, breathing financial plan is updated as you move through life. Working with CWFP on an ongoing basis means having a partner to keep an eye on your financial picture and more time for you to live your best life.

If you are ready to learn more about real financial planning, take a moment to schedule a free “Get to Know You” meeting to see if we are a good fit.

Stanley Himeno-Okamoto, CFP®, CFA

About Stanley Himeno-Okamoto, CFP®, CFA

Hi! I’m Stanley, a fee-only financial planner based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I founded DRS Financial Partners to help technology startup employees steer through the complexities of their equity compensation and ever-changing lives, committing to an objective approach and fiduciary standard.

Fascinated with the stock market since I was young, I began my career at a boutique wealth management firm in SF and quickly discovered how rewarding it is to help people gain clarity around their finances and make decisions with confidence. Whether it’s preparing for a liquidity event or starting a family, seven years of helping tech executives and early employees with their complex situations helped me appreciate just how important it is to build a solid financial foundation. During my time there, I earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation and CFA® charter, sat on the investment committee, and led the firm’s financial planning efforts.

Adopted from Okinawa as a baby, I grew up in Hawaii and fell in love with the Bay Area during a high school summer program. I graduated Cum Laude from Santa Clara University with a B.S. in Economics (Mathematical Economics concentration) and a Math minor. Outside of work you can find me on one of the Bay Area’s many beautiful hiking trails, unwinding with some video games, or keeping up with an F1 race weekend.

Mike Farrow, CFP®

About Mike Farrow, CFP®

I feel very lucky to have found a career I am passionate about. My father got me started investing at a pretty young age. It was from him that I learned the power of compound interest, and I am forever grateful to him for that. Albert Einstein is widely credited with saying “Compound Interest is the 8th wonder of the world. He who understands it, earns it… he who doesn’t… pays it.” Throughout my childhood I earned my allowance by mowing lawns. Once a month we would pull out the checkbook from my father’s desk drawer and add up the money I was depositing. What truly excited me was the amount of interest that would accrue. I quickly realized, if I didn’t spend all my money, it would start to grow on its own. The rest is pretty much history.

What I love most about my job is I get to advise individuals on how to achieve a life free from financial worries; where one can afford to choose a career that provides a real contribution to society, a life that allows for a few luxuries, the ability to help others financially, and a comfortable retirement at a time of your choosing. I think there are very few careers that are more rewarding than that.
