About Treavor Dodsworth CFP®, CPA, CKA®

I became set on doing financial planning while studying at Olivet Nazarene University. Financial planning gives me an opportunity to take the many moving pieces of someone’s financial life and put it together in a way that is useful to them. Many people do not realize the possibilities that are open to them. They become stuck in the mundane and do not realize until many years later that they never pursued what they are truly passionate about. Financial planning allows me to help individuals articulate their dreams and then start on a path to fulfill them.

On a personal side, I hope you will find that I am professional but relaxed and open enough to let others be themselves. In my free time, I enjoy playing games with family and friends or going on the classic dinner and movie date with my wife. I feel very blessed to have the family that I do. A girl in the youth group where we volunteered once told me- “You are like Spiderman… the nerdy guy that got the popular girl.” That pretty much sums it up.

Primarily, I work with clients on a virtual basis. This means you can meet with me from the comfort of your own home. No more taking time out of your day to drive to an office.

I would love an opportunity to connect with you. Talk to you soon!

If you are ready to get serious about retirement (whether you’re 10 years or 10 days away), let’s chat. I can help you understand where you stand today and then design and implement a plan that works for you.

About David Wattenbarger, CFP®, CAP®

I started DRW Financial as a fee-only financial advising and planning firm after working for twelve years “behind the scenes” in financial services, where I learned a great deal about how best to serve the needs of my clients.

I have found it valuable to continue learning, and earned my CFP® designation, as well as the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® designation, which aligns well with my desire to help clients align their financial lives with their own unique values.

My personal values revolve around carving out quality time with my family and making the work I do worthwhile and valuable to my clients.

About Justin Waller, CFP®

I ran my first financial projection at the ripe age of 11. I was trying to show my father the financial benefits of quitting smoking. While I was unsuccessful in my attempt, I look back on that as the first step on a long journey.

I started working in the mutual fund management industry in 1998. I enjoyed helping people improve their lives through their finances, but I wanted to have a more direct and personal impact. In 1999, I started training at the University of California, Davis in their CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional training program. This career path allowed me to directly help people achieve their personal goals.

After being recruited by a nationally known financial planning firm in early 2000, I was promoted to training manager before the end of the year. I obtained my Certified Financial Planner designation in the spring of 2003. After spending several years in a fee-based structure, I became a fee-only planner in 2009. I started my own firm in late 2014 to provide more independence and flexibility so that I could better serve my clients.

I enjoy working with active people who see their money as a means to do more with their lives. Whether you are involved in sports, like to travel, want to contribute your time to charitable organizations, or are an involved grandparent, I want to help make those things financially possible. I like to work with people who value a trusting relationship with a knowledgeable advisor.

As a six-time Ironman triathlon finisher, I enjoy living a multi-sport lifestyle, encouraging others to be active and take a healthy approach to work and to life.

I currently live in Northern California with my wife, and two wonderful children.

Tyler Landes, CFP®, AIF®

About Tyler Landes, CFP®, AIF®

I’m Tyler Landes, a financial planner who loves to help young professionals and their families. Our generation is very aware that we need to plan and make smart financial decisions early and often. We’ve been taught money basics along the way, but at a certain point we all need guidance. I founded Tandem Financial Guidance to make financial advice accessible to everyone because we all dream big, and we don’t have to do it alone.

There are many types of financial advisor. I’m not the kind you’ll find playing golf at the country club or charting the markets behind a mahogany desk. I’m the planner you should meet with to uncover what your goals are in the first place. When you get the new job with the new benefits package, together we’ll pick the options that are right for you. When you meet “the one,” we’ll make sure your money habits are aligned and work for you both. And when you call to say you’re expecting another child, we’ll adjust and tweak and craft new goals all together.

PERSONAL:

I live in Kansas City, Missouri with my wife and two young daughters. Molly is an accountant, so you’d think our financial life would be neat and tidy. In reality, like many couples we each handle spending decisions differently. Luckily we both value living within our means and making progress toward our future goals. In our spare time we enjoy live music, trying new restaurants, and traveling to new ballparks. I also dabble in homebrewing and am an aspiring beer snob.
