About Taylor Jessee, CFP®, CPA

Hey there,

I’m Taylor, founder of Impact Financial. Thanks for stopping by.

You’d probably like to know a little bit more about me.

Don’t worry. I won’t bore you with the basics you can easily read on LinkedIn.

After nearly a decade of working for various wealth management firms (of all sizes…big, medium, and small), I founded Impact Financial in 2022.

Why?

Don’t get me wrong; I learned a ton, worked with a lot of great people, and discovered my life’s calling.

But in the back of my mind it felt like something was missing. I grew tired of the corporate grind. Tired of the siren song of ‘more’ – more money, more clients, more market share – when all I really wanted more of was life.

So, with a wife and three young kids, I took a giant leap of faith to build Impact Financial.

To build a firm centered on the simple idea that true financial planning is not about helping the rich get richer, but about helping lift a weight off someone’s shoulder so they are free to live out their own calling in life.

To build a firm with an others-first mentality.

To build a firm that focuses first on making a positive impact in its clients’ lives and in the community, not on its own bottom line.

But that’s enough about me.

Let’s talk about your story.

About Amol Desai, CFP®, CFA, MBA

We facilitate Mid-career professionals to become financially assured and well prepared for life. As a first-generation immigrant myself, we relate to and enjoy working with educated professionals who are the first-generation in the USA. We help them build long-term wealth by working towards increasing their awareness of the available strategies in the US and how to use them, guiding them through optimizing their employee benefits, identifying tax-planning opportunities, building and managing investment portfolios suitable to clients’ specific risk-tolerance and their unique circumstances.

In addition to being Fee-only, Independent and Fiduciary advisors, our advice is always guided by our values: Service, Diligence, Humility, Learning, and Living with Purpose.

I believe that ‘Wealth’ is not a material thing to be chased but a complex concept to be understood; a potent resource to be nurtured and managed. Financial success is not an end, but a means to an end—the ability to live life with purpose and meaning.

I work with my clients to develop financial plans that align with their own values, whether it’s funding kids’ education, pursuing a passion or supporting a favorite charity. My clients understand that building long-term wealth is a journey to create a life with purpose rather than merely chasing materialistic wishes or high investment returns without knowing why.

Apart from helping my clients organize their finances and build them long-term wealth, I am passionate about music – especially Indian Classical Music. Even though I am not an artist myself, I do follow and listen to music very intently and always look to improve my understanding of it. This has taught me the importance of nurturing some passion/hobby outside of my professional life and how it can help in living a happy life with intent. In addition, it enables us to naturally relate to our clients who have passions besides their regular work life and are keen to pursue those. We enjoy working with such clients and helping them pursue their dream without having to worry about their finances.

Key areas we address:
> Cash-flow planning
> Goals review and Savings needs analysis
> Employee benefits review and optimization
> Tax planning
> Investment planning & management
> Retirement planning
> Insurance planning & risk management
> Estate planning

Questions we help Mid-career professionals & 1st-generation Americans answer:
> How can I create a financial plan that balances my current lifestyle and future goals?
> How do I think about budgeting and managing my expenses?
> How can I create a plan to fund my children’s education?
> What are the tax implications of having income and assets in the United States as well as my home country?
> Should I keep my overseas assets as is or bring them to the United States? What is the optimal way to do it?
> How can I reduce my tax liability and maximize my savings?
> What are the best ways to invest and grow my savings?
> How much money do I need to save for retirement, and what retirement savings vehicles should I use?
> What types of insurance do I need to shield my assets and provide for my family?
> How can I plan for unexpected expenses, such as a medical emergency or job loss?
> What should I consider when buying a house or other real estate?
> How can I distribute my estate according to my wishes?

About Michael Davidoff, CFP®, CFA

My name is Mike Davidoff. I am a patient, thoughtful and empathetic human being who deeply values relationships, lifelong learning, and personal growth. I am a father, a husband, a dog owner, a Jets fan, a writer, a cancer survivor and many other identities depending on who you are in my life.

At age 48, I decided it was time to stop ignoring my lifelong dream of opening my own wealth advisory practice.

I wrote about this vision in my mid-20’s for my business school applications, and the desire to take this personal leap has grown in intensity over time. I strongly believe that all of us collective consumers (including me) are yearning for honest, compassionate and useful financial education and advice from the financial services industry. That is our mission at MND Wealth Management, LLC.

We work primarily with mid- to late-career professionals, also known as the “sandwich generation.” This is a season of life where your time, focus, money and energy are compromised by multiple competing factors, and it is extremely valuable to match up your financial resources with your life goals and needs.

Agile Wealth is the culmination of a number of aspects of my life all coming together to help you Software Engineers & Techies plan for all the financial aspects of your lives from Today thru the Future.

★ Equity Comp & Stock Options
★ Lifestyle & Cash flow management – Give every $ a Job
★ Career & Side Hustle (Freelancing/Consulting/Startup) Integration
★ College Planning & Funding Beyond a 529 Plan
★ Legacy & Estate Planning
★ Tax Strategies
★ How All the Pieces Fit & Work Together

My backstory: I was a software engineer for 20+ years and moved into consulting work after the first couple of years of my career. That initially looked like working for a couple of small boutique consulting firms for a half dozen years and then I started my own solo consulting company.
At that point, I knew I was no longer going to have a company retirement plan, so I did the research to figure out what options were available for me in my own company and which one of the many plans was going to be best for my family.
While out doing software projects I would talk with my peers, other independent contractors & consultants, about what I had done with my company and retirement accounts, and they would have no idea any of that was even possible.
Fast forward 10 years and I was looking for a change and those conversations bubbled back to the surface. I decided to make that change be into the world of personal finance.
After gaining experience for seven years and seeing how the industry works, it was time to again head out on my own and launch my own financial planning firm and get further education to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
Because of my personal experiences and the fact that I know the language and thinking processes of software engineers, I have focused my practice on helping software geeks & techies build your own financial lives and bridge the transition from Today into the Future.

Matthew Garasic, CFP®

About Matthew Garasic, CFP®

Matt’s first return on investment came in elementary school after selling a pig at the county fair. A $900 profit from sweat equity earned cleaning pig pens isn’t exactly the same as constructing investment and tax strategies, but it embodies the long-term, disciplined philosophy he carries today and served as the catalyst for his interest and appreciation of personal finance.

Matt wasn’t sure how to make a career out of personal finance, so he started college studying petroleum geology because he enjoyed working with numbers and being outdoors. It didn’t take long to realize his classmates were far more passionate about studying rocks than he was. Thinking back to what interested him, Matt remembered being fascinated by the time value of money in his high school economics course. A few years later Matt graduated with honors from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Consumer & Family Financial Services.

After graduation, Matt stayed in Columbus where he obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, learned the ropes of wealth management, and experienced the gratification of being a fee only, Registered Investment Advisor (RIA).

At 26 Matt began building and managing the financial planning department for a multi-billion-dollar Miami and New York based RIA. In this role, Matt developed and implemented sophisticated strategies to address the financial intricacies encountered by ultra-high net worth business owners, C-suite executives, athletes, and entertainers.

Managing wealth at this scale was complex, challenging, and rewarding, but what Matt loves most is building relationships from scratch and using his expertise to facilitate the joy clients express with every goal they achieve along the path to financial independence.

At 28 Matt founded Unrivaled Wealth Management to serve as a conduit for himself, his clients, and his colleagues to stop surviving and start thriving.
