Hi! I’m Brad Kingsley, a fee-only financial planner based in Charleston, South Carolina – serving clients worldwide through technology solutions.

I help professionals and business owners clarify their finances then develop and execute a plan to achieve their personal life goals – through fee-only comprehensive financial planning.

INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT:
As a fee-only financial advisor, I do not receive commissions or other compensation from the sale of specific investments or insurance products. This is a conflict-of-interest I decided to purposely avoid. I represent you and your best interests, and only get paid based on a clear agreed-upon fee schedule.

Investing is just one part of a healthy financial plan ā€“ but an important part.

In our relationship, we will clarify your risk tolerance to understand the best way to balance your portfolio and minimize your investing anxiety. We also clarify personal details and goals, and merge this with risk profiles, to optimize your portfolio in the best way toward your goals ā€“ for you personally.

BUSINESS ADVISEMENT:
With business advisement, I help small business owners maximize the value of their businesses. This includes business operations, finance, and profits, but also positioning intrinsic value for a future exit/sale.

Personally I have started, grown, managed, and successfully sold my own business. Iā€™ve dealt with startup tasks, human resources, technology, management, finance and everything else you are dealing with. Hi, Iā€™m Grant Bledsoe.

I work with business owners & entrepreneurs across the country. I find that many business owners devote all their attention and energy to building a successful business, but all too often they neglect their personal finances in the process. I help my clients conceptualize their ideal life, and then help them arrange their business and financial puzzle to achieve it.

Over the course of 3-5 initial meetings, we help our clients chart a course from where they are today to wherever it is theyā€™d like to go in the future. Throughout the process we assess their financial strengths & vulnerabilities, answer any lingering questions, and build a step by step guide that will give them a very high chance of reaching their objectives. We then execute that plan over time, and make real time adjustments as our clientsā€™ lives and the world around them evolve.

Hereā€™s a little more about my background:

I started my career in finance at Charles Schwab after finishing my MBA, working on their institutional securities lending desk in both Denver and San Francisco. After seven years, I realized I wanted to help people more directly in an unbiased setting as a fiduciary. To do this I launched Three Oaks Wealth and structured it as a fee-only registered investment advisory firm. Iā€™m not compensated by anyone but my clients directly, and am legally bound to act in their best interests.

I hold a special place in my heart for small-business owners. I spent a decade defending them against the IRS as a tax attorney and have become one as a financial advisor. Itā€™s a position filled with hope and opportunity. It gives you the most flexibility to create the life that you want. I also understand the added stresses of running a business while being a person of color and a part of the LGBTQ+ community. You may feel like you don’t have access to the knowledge that others do.
