About Brad Kingsley, CFP®

Hi! I’m Brad Kingsley, a fee-only financial planner based in Charleston, South Carolina – serving clients worldwide through technology solutions.

I help professionals and business owners clarify their finances then develop and execute a plan to achieve their personal life goals – through fee-only comprehensive financial planning.

FINANCIAL PLANNING:
An ideal financial plan is built around your specific values, goals, and dreams.

Within our relational process, we’ll clarify your current financial state, explore your ideal vision of the future, and evaluate options to achieve as much as possible – considering prioritization of various scenarios.

Financial planning solutions include advice on cash flow and budgeting, debt management, investments, retirement planning, employee benefits, insurance, real estate, and topics specific to current and future small business owners.

INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT:
As a fee-only financial advisor, I do not receive commissions or other compensation from the sale of specific investments or insurance products. This is a conflict-of-interest I decided to purposely avoid. I represent you and your best interests, and only get paid based on a clear agreed-upon fee schedule.

Investing is just one part of a healthy financial plan – but an important part.

In our relationship, we will clarify your risk tolerance to understand the best way to balance your portfolio and minimize your investing anxiety. We also clarify personal details and goals, and merge this with risk profiles, to optimize your portfolio in the best way toward your goals – for you personally.

BUSINESS ADVISEMENT:
With business advisement, I help small business owners maximize the value of their businesses. This includes business operations, finance, and profits, but also positioning intrinsic value for a future exit/sale.

Personally I have started, grown, managed, and successfully sold my own business. I’ve dealt with startup tasks, human resources, technology, management, finance and everything else you are dealing with. If you want someone to come alongside you who has already successfully navigated these areas, let’s talk about business advisement services.

Grant Bledsoe, CFP®, CFA

About Grant Bledsoe, CFP®, CFA, CEPA, AIF®

Hi, I’m Grant Bledsoe.

I work with business owners & entrepreneurs across the country. I find that many business owners devote all their attention and energy to building a successful business, but all too often they neglect their personal finances in the process. I help my clients conceptualize their ideal life, and then help them arrange their business and financial puzzle to achieve it.

To do this my firm offers a few different services: comprehensive financial planning, investment management, and retirement plan management.

These services cover the spectrum of challenges that business owners typically face:

·Growing the value of your business & structuring a sound exit when you’re ready
·Minimizing your personal and business tax liabilities
·Protecting your personal and business assets against liability
·Building consistent cash flow to support your lifestyle
·Protecting your business against death, disability, or departure of one or more key people, including yourself
·Structuring your business in a way that supports & builds your personal wealth and ideal life

To deliver our planning services my firm has developed a process we call Confidence in Advanced Planning. Over the course of 3-5 initial meetings, we help our clients chart a course from where they are today to wherever it is they’d like to go in the future. Throughout the process we assess their financial strengths & vulnerabilities, answer any lingering questions, and build a step by step guide that will give them a very high chance of reaching their objectives. We then execute that plan over time, and make real time adjustments as our clients’ lives and the world around them evolve.

Here’s a little more about my background:

I started my career in finance at Charles Schwab after finishing my MBA, working on their institutional securities lending desk in both Denver and San Francisco. After seven years, I realized I wanted to help people more directly in an unbiased setting as a fiduciary. To do this I launched Three Oaks Wealth and structured it as a fee-only registered investment advisory firm. I’m not compensated by anyone but my clients directly, and am legally bound to act in their best interests.

On paper I hold the following credentials:
·CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®)
·Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
·Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA)
·Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®)
·MBA from Ithaca College, concentrating in finance
·B.S. in Applied Economics, also from Ithaca College

On a personal note, I live in Sacramento, CA with my wife, two sons, and daughter. I’m a huge fan of the Seattle Mariners (and baseball in general), and love spending time outside & exploring the outdoors in our area.

If you’d like to chat about your financial situation, feel free to book some time on my calendar: https://calendly.com/grant-bledsoe-1/30min

About Brian Thompson, CFP®, JD

As both a tax attorney and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, I provide comprehensive financial planning to LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs who run mission-driven businesses. Whether your a small business, freelancer or consultant, this is the place for you.

I hold a special place in my heart for small-business owners. I spent a decade defending them against the IRS as a tax attorney and have become one as a financial advisor. It’s a position filled with hope and opportunity. It gives you the most flexibility to create the life that you want. I also understand the added stresses of running a business while being a person of color and a part of the LGBTQ+ community. You may feel like you don’t have access to the knowledge that others do. I’m here to help lift some of that weight from your shoulders.

Every client comes to me with different goals and concerns. You may want a business that aligns with your values and authentically represents you. Yet, you don’t know how to get started. In our work together, we help you get clarity around your vision and guide you through the steps to structure your business in a way that serves your life.

You may already have a business that makes good gross revenue but that doesn’t provide much profit. It may also look very different from what you initially imagined. We will create systems that allow you to get back in control and keep moving towards the progress you want.

Or maybe you just feel stuck in the business and need help making ongoing decisions to ensure your business thrives and rewards you with the life you aspire to. In any case, I serve as your guide, advocate and thought partner helping you thrive in business and in life.

Because of my service to the LGBTQ+ community, I was awarded the Inspiring Leader Award by the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) in 2018. I was also named to InvestmentNews’ 2018 “40 under 40”. I’m a contributor to Forbes and NAPFA Advisor Magazine’s Efficient Planner Column. You can learn more about me and my story in my profile in the New York Times and on my podcast interview that was featured on The Huffington Post.

I graduated cum laude from DePauw University and obtained my Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law. I earned my Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University Center for Professional Planning and received my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2012.

When I’m not doing what I love professionally, I enjoy working out, cooking (and sometimes baking) and exploring Chicago, the best city in the world!
