Manage Your Own Finances - At What Cost

Many of us might remember walking in the door from work some night and say, I was exhausted. My wife, though beautiful, looked so frazzled from running kids around all day, so I offered to cook dinner. While doing so, I couldn’t help but look over and see the stack of bills on the counter. I painfully realized we’re further in debt and no closer to reaching our financial goals. Once upon a time, we vowed we’d never get into debt, but here we are. After dinner, it’s 8 pm and we still have to help with homework. I always believe I’ll make time for our finances, budget, and investments, but now 10 years later and 10 years closer to retirement, I still haven’t had time. Sound familiar?
